Microsoft is gradually rolling out Android storage integration for Windows 10 and 11.
In the coming days, most people should begin automatically seeing their Android phone storage in File Explorer.
Previously, the feature was limited to testers with Windows 11, but Microsoft has now decided to roll it out to everyone, even those on Windows 10 in addition to Windows 11.

It seems this is a staged rollout, so you may not get the feature immediately. However, here is what to expect.
What to expect:
- PC users will be able to view their Android phone files in File Explorer without connecting via USB.
- You can now manage files on your phone from your PC and transfer files effortlessly between your PC and Android device.
Requirements to get Android storage integration
- Make sure you’re running the most recent versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Update the Cross-Device Experience Host from the Microsoft Store.
- You’ll need to be running Android 11 or newer.
- Have installed the Link to Windows app on Android and linked your PC. Go to Settings>Bluetooth & devices>Mobile Devices to know if your PC is linked to your Android device.
