Gemini Live, which was available only to Gemini advanced subscribers, is now available for free to all Android users.
Google announced via an X post that Live is now available for all Gemini users in English on the Android app. However, there is no Gemini app for iOS, so those users will not be able to participate in the experience.
Gemini Live is currently only available in English and has 10 different voice options. Over 40+ languages will be rolling out to Android devices over the next few weeks starting with French, German,Portuguese,Hindi and Spanish.
To use Gemini live, download the Gemini app from the Play Store or update if previously downloaded > launch the app > hit the “live” icon beside the text box > choose a voice and enjoy!
