Apple has rolled out iOS 18.3.2, a new update that addresses a security flaw in WebKit, the browser engine used by Safari.
This vulnerability allowed malicious code inside the Web Content sandbox to impact other parts of a device. The Web Content sandbox is designed to isolate web processes and limit security risks.
Apple had previously patched this issue, identified as CVE-2025-24201, in iOS 17.2 back in late 2023. However, the latest release provides an additional fix.
According to Apple’s release notes, the flaw has now been “addressed with improved checks to prevent unauthorized actions.” The same update has been applied to iPadOS 18.3.2, macOS Sequoia 15.3.2, visionOS 2.3.2, and Safari 18.3.1.
Apple users should update their devices immediately to stay protected.
The update is available for iPhone XS and newer models, as well as various iPad models, including:
- iPad Pro (11-inch, 3rd gen and later, and 12.9-inch, 1st gen and later)
- iPad Air (3rd gen and later)
- iPad (7th gen and later)
- iPad mini (5th gen and later)
Most users will receive an automatic update notification, but you can manually install it by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
