The Africa Data Protection Association has launched the first e-learning platform dedicated to data protection in Africa.
This innovative project is in line with the association’s missions, one of which is to promote learning about data protection standards across the African continent.
About the e-learning platform
The courses are free and are designed for anyone who wishes to gain a better understanding of the history and key principles of data protection in Africa.
The first course, titled “Introduction to Personal Data Protection in Africa,” provides an in-depth overview of the history of personal data protection in Africa, with a particular focus on the specific challenges and practices in each region.
Learners will explore the existing laws and regulations, as well as the definitions of key concepts in data protection.
