1. The Open Capital Analyst Program 2025 for young African graduates

2. CcHub-Mastercard Foundation Edtech Fellowship Programme 2025 (Cohort III) for edtech startups ($100k in equity-free funding)
CcHub and Mastercard Foundation are partnering to empower edtech startups who are building tools that enhance learning outcomes and accelerate access to equitable and quality education for Africa’s next generation.
The program provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with a network of experienced professionals with the goal to drive innovation in the edtech sector.
Eligibility requirements:
- Startups must be Africa focused and incorporated in Nigeria. They should be building solutions that address challenges across K-12, tertiary education and vocational skills training.
- Your Edtech Solution must posses these two qualities

3. Vodacom Digital Skills Hub: 1 Million-Person Upskilling Program
The Vodacom Digital Skills Hub is aimed at equipping individuals with core digital skills essential for success in the modern workforce.
Developed in conjunction with AWS, Microsoft, Skillsoft and other collaborating organizations Vodacom aims to bridge the digital skills gap across eight African countries and upskill 1 million young people by 2027.
Opportunity availability by country: South Africa, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Mozambique, Lesotho, Egypt, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Kenya.
4. Stanbic IBTC 2024 Digital Skills Empowerment Programme (DiSEP) 4.0 for young Nigerian graduates
The Stanbic IBTC Digital Skills Empowerment Programme (DiSEP) is an initiative that will provide excellent digital training, upskilling and paid certifications to a group of eligible Nigerian candidates for free.
Requirements:
- Applicants should be interested in building a career in the following technical fields; Kubernetes, NET Core, C#, Software Testing and Automation, DevOps, Java.
- Minimum of a Second Class Lower degree in an Information Technology or Engineering related course from an accredited University.
- Minimum of five credits (Mathematics and English inclusive) in GCE, NECO or its equivalent.
- Applicants must have concluded NYSC and must have discharge certificate in hand.
- Applicant’s Date of Birth, Gender and class of degree must be clearly stated.
- Applicant must not be more than 28 years old as at the time of application
- Artificial Intelligence for Development in Africa- AI4D Africa Scholarships 2025 for PhD students in AI and ML.
5. Artificial Intelligence for Development in Africa (AI4D Africa) Scholarship
The African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS) received a grant from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to support the scholarship of Persons with Disability (PWD) within sub-Saharan Africa.
The funding will support the training of PhD students in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) as well as the research work of Early Career Academics in AI & ML.

6. Generation Ghana-Mastercard Foundation Data Analyst Program 2025
Generation Ghana and Mastercard Foundation has launched their 2025 Data Analyst Program for young Ghanaians. The programme is for individuals with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and a desire to learn practical digital skills like data analytics and data science.
Who is eligible?
- Individual must be 18-35 years old
- Must live in the Greater Accra
- Must hold degree from a university, college, vocational institutes or technical training including certifications from Cisco (Cisco Certification, Cisco Networking Academy Badge or Course Certificate of Completion)
- Available for at least 8 hours a day for online learning and in-person sessions.
The program will run from January 20 to April 18, 2025, online, and from January 27 to April 18, 2025, in a hybrid format.
