1. DevFest Accra 2024
DevFest is a yearly tech conference hosted by Google Developer Groups across the globe. This is an amazing platform for software developers to connect locally to learn and build on Google’s tools. The key themes for this year’s event include AI, Machine learning, Cloud, Gemini, Angular and more.

2. IMFEST 2024
Date: 18th Septmeber, 2024
Location: Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra
IMFEST 2024 is an event designed to drive the African emerging tech ecosystem into new horizons. It is an opportunity for innovators, creators, and tech enthusiasts to converge to shape Africa’s digital future.
IMFEST aims to boost Africa’s economy with digital innovation and immersive technology, fostering an ecosystem that benefits local communities and tackles climate change.
There will be panels and workshops, plenary sessions, networking opportunities and speakers from the various tech industries.
Event speakers include Hac de Bokx (Ceo & CTO of RecellGhana ComputerLabs), Darlington Akogo (CEO & Founder of minoHealth AI Labs), Niklolet Zwart (CEO of Biolegal), Joshua Opoku (President of Ghana STEM network & IoT Africa), Vanessa Aidoo (UI/UX manager, MTN Ghana) and more.
3. Software Freedom Day 2024
Software Freedom Day is the celebration of Free and Open Source Software globally. In honour of the 20th anniversary of the Linux Accra user group — comprised of open-source and Linux enthusiasts and professionals, Software Freedom Day 2024 is designed for anyone enthusiastic about free and open-source software. The event will include informative presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops.

4. AI Afahy3 2024
The inaugural AI festival in Ghana, called “AI AfahyƐ,” aims to facilitate knowledge transfer, promote research, and foster collaboration for AI projects and adoption in Ghana and Africa. Like other tech events in Ghana, it will provide a platform to bring together industry experts, innovators, tech leaders, and passionate individuals who are using artificial intelligence to address real-world problems and make a positive impact on society.

4. Pycon Africa 2024
Join hundreds of developers, researchers, students and other professionals across Africa and beyond to grow your Python skills.
The event is grouped into three sections: Tutorials/Workshops (24th – 25th September), Main conference days ( 26th – 27th September) and sprints (collaboration on new and established open-source Python projects).
