Medium has announced the expansion of its partner program to writers in Ghana and other new 76 countries. This was a popular request made by the Medium community (group of readers and writers) considering changes to the Partner Program.
The program is now available to a total of 119 countries, 23 of them being African countries (Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, and Tunisia).

Medium’s partner program is a program for monetizing the articles you publish on the Medium platform. Your earnings will be based on the engagement metrics by Medium readers on your articles.

The expansion means Ghanaian writers on Medium can now earn from their publications on Medium as their country is now eligible. This is one of many ways to earn money online if you find interest in writing.
Facebook has also expanded its monetization support to Ghana, where you can create video content to earn as well.

There will be a $10 minimum payout threshold meaning your earnings have to reach $10 before you can withdraw.
